I'm back with some recent manis!
Hi All,
The first ful week of my new job is over and I survived. :D I actually really enjoy my new job, but I know that it's not long-term because the pay isn't great. Money isn't everything but I do need enough to support myself and I'd rather not have to work 2 jobs in order to do so. :p
Anyhoo, here are 2 manis from since I last posted. I missed getting pictures of one - OPI Japanese Rose Garden with a layer of Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter, which I wore for my first 2 days of work.
The first couple of pictures are actually of what I had on my nails before I got the job. It's OPI Senorita Rose-alita. It's a really pretty hot rose pink with gold shimmer. If I remember correctly, it was 2 coats and I had no trouble with the application. I'm really into gold shimmer right now.
The next couple of pictures are of my manicure from this past week. I wore 3 coats of BB Couture Beetle Bailey with 1 coat of Pure Ice Busted over it. Beetle Bailey is a grayed out purple that is along the same vein as OPI Parlez-Vous OPI but it is a bit more red-toned. I wasn't really in the mood for a creme finish though so I busted out Busted. :) It's a pink/light purple sparkle layering polish that looked really great on top of the purple.
Right now, I only have the time and energy to do my nails on the weekends so that's most likely when I'll post from now on. We'll see how it goes as more time passes.
I did get 4 new Konad plates today since I came across a kiosk in a mall that I went to. I'm already trying to think of what I want to do with them...

Good News and Bad News
The good news is that I did get a job after all. It's not the position I originally interviewed for, but I'm happy with what I did get. It's my first real job (after a 3 year search), so I'm really excited.
The bad news is that I need to take a break from blogging. I started this blog when I was unemployed and had lots of free time on my hands. After only one day of training, I'm totally wiped out and don't have enough functioning brain cells to do a nail post. I expect that it'll only get worse when I actually start working next week because the days are longer and more active. I have to see how it all goes as I get used to my new schedule and life, really.
Thank you to my 18 followers for bothering to follow my little blog. :)

NOTM: Zoya Rea
Hi All,
I got my Mac up and running yesterday and I am not used to it at all! I feel like I'm relearning how to use a computer all over again. I've had to google a lot of things to try to figure out things that I could easily do with a PC. Just figuring out how to resize the pictures for this post was a chore! I do miss using my hp and some of the features it had, but I'm sure I'll get used to the Mac after more use (I hope). It's already gotten easier tonight when compared to last night.
Anyhoo, on to the important stuff...
Zoya Rea is one of the polishes that I got from the last exchange. It is a metallic purple that really shimmers under the light. It applied beautifully and I only needed 2 coats. I wasn't crazy about the color when I first applied it because it looked almost dirty, for lack of a better word. However, outside it really transforms into a pretty shade, so it redeemed itself. :p

I'm be back soon...
I just wanted to pop in to let you all know that a nail post will be coming hopefully by Monday if not before. This entire week has been pretty cruddy for me starting with my laptop monitor dying Sunday night and culminating today in me not getting a job that I thought I had in the bag. :(
I'm in a pretty low mood right now or else I'd do the nail post with my broken laptop.
Looking on the bright side of things, I should be getting my new laptop, a Mac, tomorrow! I really did like my hp but have lost all confidence in the quality of their products. A laptop should last more than 14 months. My first laptop lasted me 7 years! I really hope my Mac lasts for a long time because I'm a creature of comfort and don't like unnecessary changes in my life. Heck, I still use a VCR and buy CDs. LOL.
